Modularis co-founders A.J. Singh and Olivier Gasson have created a team of accelerating value architects. The team is committed to automating the software development process on behalf of our Enterprise ISV, System Integrator, OEM, and Government Enterprise clients.
Founder and Chief Executive Officer
A.J. has been designing line-of-business software systems on the Microsoft platform for more than 16 years. Five of these years were spent at Motorola where he created and managed the Computer Integrated Manufacturing Group for Motorola’s fast-growing digital cellular infrastructure business. He designed, executed, and was responsible for maintaining all critical Manufacturing Execution Systems in a large, highly dynamic 7x24 manufacturing facility. To deploy and secure these systems, A.J. also pioneered and deployed the largest Windows network in Motorola at the time.
He then joined Whittman-Hart and served for two years as the Chief Software Architect for the National Transportation Exchange. A.J. designed and implemented the on-line B2B Exchange for transportation services.
In late 1999, he established Modularis. A.J.’s goal for Modularis was to automate as much of the software development process as practical and enable software architects to more rapidly and successfully deliver line-of-business systems on Microsoft technologies, while simultaneously guaranteeing the quality, scalability, and extensibility of these systems. The result of his efforts is the Enterprise Application Platform, Modularis Accelerator.
A.J. was awarded a Masters in Mechanical Engineering Degree by the University of Illinois.
Co-founder and Vice President
Prior to joining A.J. in the creation of Modularis, Olivier worked for more than ten years as a business analyst for various government organizations, including the Office of Fiscal Studies in the Department of Finance in France, the French Trade Delegation in Bonn Germany and the Department of Health and Family Services in the State of Wisconsin.
Olivier’s combined expertise in quantitative analysis and economic public policy led him to be involved in all phases of the lifecycle of data based initiatives. This involvement included requirements and regulatory compliancy, collection, transformation, analysis, delivery, audit, and all automation aspects of the process. Olivier assumed technical project management positions, including successfully leading the State of Wisconsin Y2K compliancy project for all PC-based applications within DHFS.
Olivier was awarded degrees from Université Montesquieu-Bordeaux IV - Master, International Economics and Finance and Université Denis Diderot (Paris VII) - Master, Statistics and Probability applied to Economics and Finance.
